This is such a fun collection!
I’ve been obsessed with cacti since forever – and love anything that’s dessert themed! I’m not sure how this interest began, but possibly from watching the movie ‘Rango’ as an 11yo! Throughout High School, my friend Jenny and I liked calling into the nearby Mitre 10 to scope out their $5 cactus section. Purchases made from this display slowly started growing my collection.
My fascination for these funky plants really took off, when I visited the Manurewa Botanical Gardens with Leia and came across their cactus garden, which is literally – CACTUS GOALS! We often go for walks here to visit our favs!
After finding the gigantic specimen above, I was inspired to learn more about both succulents and cacti through related Facebook groups; and really enjoy discovering new species of cacti on weekend visits to our local Kings Plan Barn.
I was thrilled when I first saw these cool cacti designs, and believe this stylish collection will have any dog lookin’ sharp!
